The gemstone engagement ring features a 5mm natural round rainbow moonstone cabochon - a natural clear stone with a flash of colour in the light - set in a sterling silver petal bezel cup. Each ring is entirely sterling silver with a repeating pattern of the old moon, full moon, and new moon. The engagement ring is approximately 3mm wide and 1.6mm thick (roughly 0.118" x 0.062"), and the wedding band is approximately 5mm wide with bevelled edges.

These moon rings have been oxidised for a dark finish. Oxidization produces a non-permanent dark charcoal grey to black finish which can be worn away with friction or repeated washing, revealing the lighter silver underneath.
